Patrons of Change

... rejecting the status quo.

For lack of a better avenue, I thought this might be the place to get your attention, not that I have anything earth shattering to bring attention to. However, once I started exploring the content and scope of this site, which primarily attracted me with its title, I discovered the nature of its origins and scope in Nashville.

Although I had originally thought "Patrons of Change" might be global in scope, and thus my attraction, I realize you're the locals in global when thinking global and acting local. In that sense we have a connection. Beyond that conceptual connection is something much more coincidental, which has origins in some of my personal connections with people from your community. I live in Bozeman, Montana and have had contact with many individuals from Nashville involved in the music industry, medical community, and skiing out West, particularly here at Big Sky and Bridger Bowl, the two ski areas Bozeman has as playgrounds.

I have met some great people from Nashville and some especially notorious characters from the music industry who spend time here, some who are very good skiers. We have a very like-minded community here and possibly the best music scene in the West and the beauty of it is that it is strongly embraced by an avid world class ski crowd. Then too, there is a strong entrepreneurial element here, an abundance of environmental organizations, and an influential green component. All for now, but I would like to suggest there may be some worthwhile crossover between our two communities that might be worth exploring in the sense of professional and entrepreneurial exchange, not to mention the rich cultural aspects that already bind us.
